Treatments & Costs
Massage treatments are available from 30-60 minutes in length to suit the individual. An initial session of 45 minutes is recommended to allow personal details, medical history and a postural assessment to be carried out (sports massage clients will receive free injury analysis if appropriate).
Please Note: only sessions of 60 minutes (cost £40.00) can be booked for our mobile service to cover travel costs - shorter sessions are available at the venues listed.
Sports & Remedial Massage
Sports massage refers to a style of massage designed to improve athletic performance, reduce recovery time between exercise and reduce the risk of injury. It involves firm direct pressure and manipulation of the major muscle groups, trigger point therapy and facilitated stretching which are combined for an overall curative approach.
Therapeutic massage is designed to manipulate both deep & superficial layers of muscle and the connective tissue to enhance their function. It focuses on relaxing the muscles around the lower back, neck and shoulders to release tension. Therapeutic massage is now an important part of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle for many people as it promotes relaxation and feelings of well-being.
Acupressure massage (sometimes called on-site or chair massage) is designed to stimulate the acupressure points in the shoulders, lower back, head and neck. Seated acupressure massage is excellent for relieving stress, tension and loosening up tight muscles in a work environment. It helps with backache, neck pain, repetitive strain injury, fatigue and anxiety.
